to start off, a fresh window as backup it installs fine and works fine, it detects the drivers/hardware in device manager and change it from HD high definition audio to Creative X-FI.
On my Main os it doesn't install the driver at all, nor from windows update which it detects but it shows error with 2 codes
16:40:48]: Installing "Creative - MEDIA - 4/3/2019 12:00:00 AM - 6.0.300.2022"... Failed (0x800705B3)
[16:40:48]: Installing updates... Failed (0x80240022)
I tried the official driver and modded one from antes techpower forums, using the creative uninstaller it caused my windows to be destroyed totally when I used creative utility and I lost a month of data, I used my backup to restore a month earlier. so as long I don't use the uninstaller the windows will be safe, it also happened on the backup fresh OS, but I've managed to do a system restore, on my main os it just didn't work.
I tried to do DISM / SFC, it shows errors but still won't install
I tried to clean the Certification Trusted , still didn't change
it's not a windows update issue because I can install updates and just about any other driver updates, it just this specific driver.
I am losing my mind and time because every X-FI card is annoying, I can't understand why can't it detect it. Even worse, AFTER inplace upgrade, it installed it!! but when I removed it to install the whole package with the Control Panel and such it won't be installed again!! same errors! why ?? and inplace upgrade has caused me another weird issue like the unpin so I can't do it and just use it. I just want to fix it on my backup where everything works expect this.
Anyone have any idea what is going on?
