First time on the forum - just registered. I have a new Lenovo Yoga.PC with Photoshop 2024 installed. My old PSE was something like 9 or 10, so ancient.
I am coming along slowly on learning this much newer version, but I can see I will have plenty of questions.
So here is my first.
I want to be able to crop images. With the image on the screen and set to Basic, I can key on the cropping tool and have the grid appear on the image. Then I can move the lines to crop to suit and I see the cropped image on the screen.
The problem occurs when I try save it, by using 'Save as....' in the Edit column. But it does not save cropped. What is saved is the image before I cropped.
This one has me stumped as my only frame of reference is my old PSE edition on which this step was completely simple.
So any help to figure this one out would be greatly appreciate.
