Good Work @Lucas North!
ZIP file?
I suggested to Lucas to post on DeviantArt, like David. This way,
>uploads are not limited (links can be shared here),
>tipping is easy (donno about commission though),
>and for sure, there is a better visibility, posts can be reached by many more viewers.

Lucas & David take time to provide nice customization, read our requests and answer them.
A little tip for the ones who can afford it, would be nicely welcome (when available).
It's not that crowded here (?yet) but I think it will evolve with the official 11 arriving next month.

That was an great suggest.
1. Uploads there is not limited. But downloads are limited to the members only. That's why I use GitHub (well, I don't post icon packs but it's the same)
2. Yes. Donations are accepted there.
3. The packs can be seen on Google.

Just a small side note and a thank you to @davidvkimball for helping me setup an option for people to donate to me via PayPal.
I did add a link beneath my signature, but unfortunately the Admin have removed the link.
I'm assuming I missed the memo where it says donations to other members is not permitted.
I wasn't looking to 'Sell' my 'Goods' but I was giving members who had already voiced an interest in donating the option to do so.

Apologies to those concerned.

I'll take a PM of your donation link, well worth it to give back a little, IMO.

Lucas, I can see that your intentions are honest and you humbly noticed that this forum doesn't allow these types of links. I have used many tools from users in the past that have had PayPal links on them. This is a way for the user to decide if he wants or not to support the work. I usually wait a bit to see if the product is as advertised and then I support it. I can say without hesitation that you do good work and I will support you. We all have to eat. But if we can eat and play, it's even better

Would be interesting to know how to modify Windows 11 start icon .with the versions shown .

Stardock have advised me that it is a bit complex , and have not been able to add this feature to Start 11 , at this time

@davidvkimball

Just wanted to say thank you for the lovely work!

Do you by any chance plan to make any custom drive icons e.g. for drives containing Files, Games, Movies etc.?

Hi,
"niivu" on DeviantArt made a few colored custom folder icons you will find by downloading :
After unzipping, go to : ...\Windows 11 Icons Theme by niivu\Windows Icons\Extra Folder Icons\ (you can delete the other folders)
(I convert packs to .dll files I place in a new folder in System32 to reach them easily (names with no space seem preferred in System32).
(In this pack, you are able to see the logos on the small sized folders, which is not the case when you search originals through "imageres/shell32").

To make quick easy Drive (or any) icons with (limited) additions, you can also try this little portable software :
(zip example file below)
And it's petty nice for customizing Music album folders with the "CD box" icon (see example below).
You may have to set the .exe file on Windows 10 compatibility mode in its properties.
When finished, do not forget to run the .cab file to remove the context menu option.

For sure, David would be able to create better and different customized Drive icons.

@CarJem , Let me know if any of these suit your needs please, thank you.
And just so we know we are on the same page here, The Green Folder with the white D-Pad was ok ?
and you want your choice of D-Pad integrating into the icon so it is available in the smaller resolutions, correct ? 😊

Sorry for the very late response, my new job had started and this was my first chance I got to respond since getting into my account isn't easy, let's make this clear:

Q: Let me know if any of these suits your needs please, thank you.
A: I personally like the 3rd one for the smaller icons!

Q: And just so we know we are on the same page here, was The Green Folder with the white D-Pad was ok?
A: Originally I was on the side of NO, but the more I think about it, it actually seems quite nice

Q: And you want your choice of D-Pad integrating into the icon so it is available in the smaller resolutions, correct? 😊
A: I believe so, I want the sizing to be reminiscent of something official... like the Downloads Folder and not the OFFICAL Saved Games Folder

Know what ticks me off?

Microsoft has some really nice icon alternatives for OneDrive. And all of them are pretty much the same icon scaled up or down, regardless of size. Except 1. And it just happens to be the one I want to use.

Hey Lucas,

First off, I'm absolutely amazed by your artwork. I'm so glad I came across this thread on my Google search as I'm currently updating my custom Windows 10 folder icons to Windows 11 themed ones. I have a couple of Windows 11 folder icon requests if you're willing, free, and able to do any of them :)

- A folder with books
- Microsoft Office Logo folder
- OneNote folder
- Android logo (like the green robot)
- Kodi folder
- Trash bin folder
- Printer folder
- Folder with a cupcake (or something similar for a recipes folder)
- Clipboard with paper
- Backpack
- Briefcase
- Paper and pencil
- Web camera
- Normal camera
- Sega Logo
- Playstation logo
- Minecraft folder
- Chess folder
- Running shoes
- One with a couple of photos on them, like for a saved pictures folder
- Fitness folder, maybe with a dumbbell on it

Hopefully, some of them will help others as well if any get done :)
