Hi folks!
I've just attempted to install Win11 for the first time, but it seems Win11 does not accept my custom partitioning layout as it used to!?
My custom (proven) partitioning layout for the last (15?) years has been:
I have always purposely crafted this layout with GParted before attempting any Windows installation, to prevent Windows from "auto-generating" it's own set of partitions.
This has always worked, up to Win10!
But with the Win11 installer I am getting: "There is an error selecting this partition for install. Please select a different partition or refresh selections."

The only workaround I found, was to "Delete Partition 1"in the installer, and then press "Partition".
But this only led Windows to again create it's own set of partitions... (which is what I wanted to prevent):
(Not sure Windows actually even used the BOOT partition for it's bootloader??)
Is there any way to make my layout work for Win11?
My ideas:

| Partition 1 | Windows (ntfs) |
| Partition 2 | Linux |
| Partition 3 | Other Linux |
| Partition 4 | BOOT,ESP (fat32) |

My ideas:
- some installer tweak or "hack"?
- install Win10 first, then upgrade to Win11?
- an older Win11 ISO?
- Windows Build/Version
- 25H2v2 ISO
