Cyberlink has removed the playback abilities of the venerable PowerDVD when they released a patch late last month.
The news can be found here and here.
All future versions of PowerDVD won't be able to play any 4K UHD Blu-ray discs/ISO files/folders from this point forward.
If anyone doesn't want to lose the ability to playback 4K UHD Blu-ray disc/ISO/folder if they have PowerDVD 22 Ultra, please look at the example below on how to lock down your copy of PowerDVD.
