Solved Defender Updates

Hi, I use Norton Security, not Defender yet every day Windows update seems to download "Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus" How can I stop this, as Norton is suppling the antivirus?

Always keep data these days of your whereabouts. Hideous scams abound but dash cams and logs can help you get out of nasty situations.

I've copied this part of my post from the Chillout section - so a warning for people to avoid an increasing amount of these sorts of scams. Especially bogus Car insurance claims and "Accident" compensation. Store data on Cloud or remote device too.

Phone and car scams though are only unfortunately only too common. I had an inquiry from Humberside police - they operate near Hull and in parts of the East Riding of Yorkshire and N.E Lincs in the UK - concerning an "incident" near the Rotterdam ferry terminal (the scammers must have known that I have regularly used the Hull >Europoort (Rotterdam) ferry) saying they wanted to talk to me about an accident at xx.xx/xx -- which was alleged to have happened on a day, time and place in the UK when I was physically in Iceland flying a private Cessna and speaking to Air traffic control from this plane where of course I was the pilot. Anyway Police were OK - apologized and that's that. Case closed. Must say that whatever people say about the dreadfulness of the Met Police in London those Humberside blokes (and woman) were quite pleasant even though I'm not usually an admirer of ANY police anywhere on the planet. Good you're back -- keep well - although I can't resist more politics -- I'm not sure I would tolerate going through the rigours of that dreadful Socialized NHS health care system they have over there even if Iceland is a bit more left leaning than the UK. Social Demoocracy and a coalition does work better with PR than the Either or binary confrontation of a FPTP system where winner takes all even on 27% of the vote -- PR is always a better choice IMO.

Hi @jimbo45 Good to hear from you. Well our NHS seems to vary depending on where you live. I must say that Salisbury NHS has been fantastic, no complaints here, but I know what you mean
