Ignore this, I got confused...
Is there a way to delete file with Shift+Delete without confirmation? I can press the Delete button without confirmation.

Funnily (or not) CoPilot doesn't understand it's own requirements either.
I tested what you mention, Shift Delete certainly shows a confirmation when using Shift Delete regardless of unchecking "Display Delete Confirmation Dialog"

Actually (Sorry)

The "Display Delete Confirmation Dialog" setting in the Recycle Bin properties only applies to regular deletions and files sent to the Recycle Bin. Unfortunately, it doesn't affect Shift + Delete, because this action bypasses the Recycle Bin entirely and permanently deletes files without asking for confirmation.
As of now, Windows doesn't offer a built-in option to suppress the confirmation dialog specifically for Shift + Delete. However, you can still use this shortcut without needing extra settings—it will always prompt you for confirmation before proceeding with a permanent delete, which is intended as a safety measure.
If you're looking for alternative methods or tweaks, let me know—I’d be happy to brainstorm further ideas!

Currently, there isn't a straightforward or officially supported Windows tweak to bypass the Shift + Delete confirmation dialog. This feature is designed as an extra safety measure, so Microsoft has not provided a built-in way to disable it.

Remove-Item "C:\Path\To\FileOrFolder" -Recurse -Force

Which is useless.

I also tried adding Permanently Delete to the context menu (Via Reg File in Brinks tutorial) but that also failed.

That can be very dangerous if one isn't careful. If a wrong file is deleted by mistake it may not be recoverable. Even with a 3rd party recovery program. Just pressing delete should move the file to the Recycle Bin where it can be restored.

only way to Shift+Delete without the confirmation is to uncheck the box and to bypass recycle bin

alternate option is i could make an ahk that you leave running in your tray that will send Shift+Delete+Enter when you press Shift+Delete. that way it would auto select Yes on the confirmation for you

It’s certainly risky when Bypass Recycle Bin its turned on in settings as it’s universal. But Shift Delete is warranted for a lot of files. The failsafe is the key combination.

I use Shift-Delete on all of my files I feel I don't need any more. I have to admit that there were times I wasn't paying attention and deleted the wrong files.

Can certainly happen. Especially if that key combination becomes a permanent or subconscious motor skill.

My excuse is that I was in too much of a hurry and didn't double check. Mistakes happen and I would never recommend anyone to bypass the warning when using Shift-Delete. Sadly there are a lot of users that don't make backups and wind up losing important and/or personal files.
