Solved Deleting a Norton File

Have removed Norton except NPM. I cannot find the actual NPW file. Anyone know name please. Norton's "help" runs me around in circles

Have no idea what NPM or NPW stand for.

Norton (whichever product you're talking about), has a removal tool. That is how you uninstall them.
You might have to reinstall the Norton product, then use the removal tool.

Thanks for prompt reply. NPM Norton Password Manager which, I believe is separate.
Will run Remove tool.

Norton Password Manager, perhaps? If so, check your extensions.

Running the cleanup tool @Ghot linked above, is sound advice.

When I finally dropped Norton, for Windows Security. I did a clean install. I'm not suggesting you go to that length however. Another option may be to pour over the registry, but that is time consuming.

Hello, ess1.

If at some point you downloaded the extension, it should simply say 'Norton Password Manager', in your extensions.

If you've ever utilized it, you should empty the vault associated with it first, then remove the extension.

@WDC Thanks. Have ccCleaner which, as far as I see, has Revo, raised problem with them. Still going around in circles with Norton - Community wants a password!
