Hi All -
I have had Norton as my antivirus for decades. I also use their password manager. It used to work extremely well when it was actually on my computer. Then, many years ago, they moved it to the cloud. What could go wrong, right? When starting Google Chrome, I click on the icon once everything has settled to get my PW manager up and running. I get a spinning circle that can last around 15 seconds, and then it reverts to my blank Google page, but no PW manager. I click the icon again, and this time I get a separate page where I have to click on a button to open the PW manager. Spinning circle again, and then back to the blank Google home page. I click the icon again and get the separate page, and click on the button, and it goes immediately back to the blank page. I close Chrome, and reopen it. Sometimes the process repeats, and sometimes it will finally give me the page to type in my PW manager password, and now it is good. If I turn off the computer for a while, I have to repeat this process again.
Is anyone else experiencing this? I even went into Norton pop-up blocker and added the PW manager page, as an exclusion to blocking. Has anyone else been able to fix this? The last time I went into Norton to get something fixed, I ran into their AI and had to jump thru several hoops just to get a human to chat with. I think this rush to AI has caused all these companies to think it replaces humans. It does not!
