Solved Desktop Shortcuts

My attachment shows the Desktop shortcuts on my pc.
2 have no Tick
4 have white background
4 have green.
Can you explain why?

    When I find it.
2 have no Tick. - That is because they are not Shortcuts but directly access a Windows system feature/app.

4 have white background. - That is because they are Shortcuts, thus deleting them will only delete the Shortcut/Pointer to an App/Folder/File etc.

A very important distinction.

4 have green. - I think that is a Syncing indicator for OneDrive or some other syncing app. Personally I don't use syncing so never see that.

As stated, the Green tick means that this app has been synced with a Cloud service like OneDrive, Dropbox etc.
