OK this might be more of a personal grievance or maybe someone can help me out.

I'd like to know what the heck happened to my Devices and Printers option from the Control Panel. I click it, and it goes to Settings, instead of the familiar nice layout that we'd seen since probably Windows 95. Now it's as if it's forcing me to look at a view from the Settings Menu called Bluetooth & Devices > Devices. I'm literally just trying to change my Default Camera on my computer and I'm now completely confused on how to do it. I actually want my default Camera to be an app (ManyCam).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just a little trick, open device manager and left click a blank space then click on the action tab and select Devices and Printers.

Creating a shortcut on the desktop still works.

Yes, I see the same behaviour.

The attached shortcut [copied from a Windows 10 computer] still works in Windows 11 to get you to the old Control panel, Devices & printers dialog that you want.

All the best,
Denis
