Thanks for the accolade. Artificial Idiots invariably spout Artificial Ignorance! I used to lead research teams working on so called 'AI' so speak with some experience. Most 'AI' used today is implementing a pattern recognition algorithm using neural networks with no inherent understanding of what is being processed.

Yeah.. AI is only a smart search engine.. and used in general is limitation is sadly not limited so it hallucinate instead of giving an empty output, that had been better if it dont know the 100% answer.
But used right it can be a good thing.. its just a tool, not the answer to knowledge.. it is like tools for a mechanic.. give the same tools to a non mechanic and he/she cant repair the car as the knowledge isn't in the tools.. its in the user of the tools.
and as all tools AI can and will be abused by people, governments and big tech.. Just like a knife if good for cooking, woodwork etc.. but its also used for stabbing people :cautious:
