Does anyone know what this beeping sound is indicating?

So this noise will occur randomly and will keep beeping non stop until I have to restart my laptop. I can't seem to figure out the cause or what it's indicating. It sounds very similar to a BIOS beep, but I'm not sure. It's not sticky keys (sound is different) and I don't get any prompts at all.

I hear that sound sometimes when pressing a key or clicking the mouse while something is causing the system to hang for a bit.

The keyboard shows a lot of wear, so I'd suspect some key is remaining in contact. I'd replace the keyboard.
