Does USB Network Gate run as a Windows service

Hi! I use USB Network Gate to share USB devices. Can anyone tell me if it stays active after a reboot or when no one is logged in, running as a Windows service in the background? Where can I check this information?

I guess yes, but you can download the trial version, install it on a couple of computers and check yourself.

Yes. This ensures that all your connections are automatically restored at boot even before anyone logs in. You don’t need to keep the program open all the time. Once it’s configured, you can just close the window, and the background service will take care of everything.

I guess instead of sharing a folder or a printer only you can share any USB device. This is of limited benefit if you have to go close to the device to use it, such as a scanner that you have to manually put the page on the glass. Also I couldn't imagine why sharing the mouse is useful. Just connect with AnyDesk or whatever if you want to remote control the computer.
