if driver package is only exe file you can still try to open it with 7-zip and expand it, it will work only if package is self-extracting.

otherwise it's executable and it either installs or not.

btw. those links you shared all contains exe file, I just donwloaded one and it's *.exe not .part
.part could also mean archive split into multiple files, in which case you need all parts and open them with 7-zip, but there is no archive on those links.

Thank you for this, I just could not find the windows 7 section on dell website. Other drivers didn’t work, they were intel but they were incompatible.

No, i copied it over to the downloads folder. Although, I had the dvd still in the pc.

Just checked without the Dvd in the pc, no change.

I suggested installing the sha2 update earlier in thread. Have you done it?

that Dell Update Packages (DUP) contains drivers for several os. The win 7 drivers inside are both sha1 and sha2. But the DUP ( the executable you are trying to run ) is only sha2

This is a safe site although I usually don't recommend driver finding software. In this case, though, I will recommend this one seeing Win 7 drivers are hard to find. It's a portable so no installation. Worth checking out IMHO.

It also requires internet connection ( unless you d/l the giant pack )

Do I have to say install the sha2 update a fourth time?

win7 doesn't have sha2 support out of the box. That is why there is the update.

I can use this after getting the key driver, internet. On the Dell website, there were many options on the Internet drivers, so I didn’t know which one to choose. I just chose the biggest file, and the one that said critical next to it.

IF Windows 7 installation isnt possible cause of incompatible hardware or drivers problem , at your position i give a try to a Windows 10 clean install. I, however, have stopped trying and if an issue arises I will try Windows 10 since the same old laptop had no performance issues except for slow boot (45-60sec.)
