Currently I have no ads on Windows 11 Home. That's currently, we'll see if it holds long term.

I know Windows is a complex bunch of code.
If it was on 19" wide spreadsheet it'd probably be about 50 foot tall, when folded.

BUT... Windows has been getting progressively sloppier over time.

Well I have. My solution isn't to run it very much. That way I won't know if something's broke or not. - lol... :lmao:

And that way I don't obsess on it because I know it's something that I'm perfectly capable of doing.

lol, well I'm being half-serious. Only I run it when I know it impacts something or when I need to troubleshoot something else. I used to repair XP at least once a month using the CD-ROM it came with. I never had to re-image Win7, Win8 or 8.1., and so it never came up that I had to do it. And I've only had to re-install Windows 10 twice in the last 10 years or so.

But Win11 seems to need to be re-imaged all the time and that's not something I have time for. If DISM winds up with a couple of errors, then I ignore it. But that's what I would do.

yeah, but out of the box. I run IoT so its no ads in there either and by design no ads :-)
