DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION happening after extended use after woken from sleep

I decided to try and install nvidia broadcast again because ive been really missing it in my discord calls (too much background noise). And what do you know, I get a blue screen a couple hours later. Here's another v2 log. Am I just stuck out of using nvidia broadcast? Anything I can do to make it work right?

Search for C:\windows\memory.dmp (approximately 2.8 GB) > save to the downloads folder > zip > post a share link

Make sure that the large file is zipped.



It appears that this driver was misbehaving but confirmation with a memory dump or Windows Driver Verifier (WDV) would be useful:

nvrtxvad_waveextensible NVIDIA Broadcast c:\windows\system32\drivers\nvrtxvad64v.sys


Please read this tutorial on WDV:



Start the tool with these settings:

a) Test all non-Microsoft drivers
b) Test no Microsoft drivers
c) Select the 3 customized tests displayed in the TF tutorial


If there is no immediate BSOD open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:

verifier /querysettings

Post a share link.

For any BSOD post a new V2 share link.

Plan to run WDV with various customized test settings for 24 - 48 hrs.

I will try to do the WDV thing but I'm a little confused on how it works.

WDV will stress test drivers.
Those that misbehave typically cause BSOD.
If dump files are created they can be debugged.

Misbehaving drivers are uninstalled or uninstalled and reinstalled.

The computer user must know how to recover from a WDV BSOD.
Learn the methods to boot into safe mode and run one or more of these commands:

verifier /reset

verifier /bootmode resetonbootfail

Only use system restore if both of the commands fail to turn off WDV.

The customized tests start with 3 tests and these are modified during the 24 - 48 hr testing period.

Make a new restore point before starting or restarting the tool.

Start with these WDV settings:

a) Test all non-Microsoft drivers
b) Test no Microsoft drivers
c) Start with the 3 customized tests in the Ten Forums tutorial




Each time the tool is restarted post either one of these share links:

a) V2 log collector for any new BSOD

b) Administrative command prompt: verifier /querysettings
if there is no immediate BSOD

I'm not sure what these mean.

There are menus when the tool is opened.

One of the menu options is to select drivers to be tested.

Use the tools scroll bar to view all of the computer drivers.
Select all non-Microsoft drivers.
Do not select Microsoft drivers.

Plan to find a GPU for swap testing.
