Solved Drive doesn't appear when attempting clean install

OS
Windows 11
PC: Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5 16ABR8
SSD: MZAL41T0HBLB-00BL2

The PC won't boot and will only recognize the SSD after multiple restarts. When going through the clean install process, the drive wasn't showing. I'm guessing I need to install the right drivers on the flash drive and load them, but I'm not sure if this is the case or if the SSD is dead.

Thank you!

Access the BIOS to see if it's recognized. If not, chance that the SSD is bad.
Otherwise when boot the Windows Installation disk, will prompt to install missing driver.
normally, user should create a folder on the root of installation media called $WinPeDriver$ then put the drivers in it.
Windows setup will recognize this folder and search for the missing driver(s).

The BIOS sometimes shows the SSD, but sometimes it doesn't. It usually needs to restart a few times to show it. I'm not sure if the format is correct or how to check.

If the BIOS not detecting SSD, that means either the connections is not good or SSD failing.

Should I open it up and check the connection? As far as I know nothing should have knocked it loose.

Happens when connection is loose or dirty, try to clean it with alcohol then re-seat firmly.

1) Please test the drive with the Sea Tools bootable Long generic test:

Take pictures > post images or share links

2) If the drive passes the Sea Tools bootable Long generic test then see if this Asus video on IRST and VMD is useful:

Currently don't have a torx screwdriver small enough to open it up, so right now I can't check the connection of the SSD. I looked through the BIOS but I didn't see anything regarding the AHCI or RAID thing. Is there something else I could check in the meantime?

BIOS version is L7CN25WW

Normally it is under Configuration Tab which you can setup Sata Mode to be ACHI or RAID.

I'm guessing I need to install the right drivers on the flash drive and load them, but I'm not sure if this is the case or if the SSD is dead.
Intel RST (Rapid Store Technology) drivers usually do the trick. Just add the driver folder to the installation USB (no integration into any installation program required). When you get to the bit where it says no drive, navigate to the folder on the USB and run the installer

Edit: Crashed during clean install
As in ... what exactly "crashed"? What exactly happened? Crashed at what point of the installation?
and screen did not turn back on.
So had the device shutdown or did the screen just not turn back on? Was the device still running but no screen?

Blood ... stone ...

When selecting the region, screen was unresponsive. The mouse could move, but I couldn't select "Yes" or click on any of the countries. Then a BSOD came up but I missed what the code was. The screen went to black, but I could hear the fan running. Then I did a force shutdown.

I'll redo the clean install to try to spot the code.

The drive isn't showing up. Going to format it and remake a media installation thing.

The drive isn't showing up.
It won't always show up until Windows is fully installed. Drivers on the USB will be needed for every attempt

but I couldn't select "Yes" or click on any of the countries. Then a BSOD came up
The PC won't boot and will only recognize the SSD after multiple restarts.
Replace the drive. A new one for a clean install will be a good start anyway. If the old drive is OK, get an USB enclosure and use it as your external to backup SSD
