And the vendor's drivers were crap or the NIC is crap or both.OK, yeah, so same hardware. Got it.
With a laptop, you should be getting the drivers from that vendor as they're specifically made for that specific hardware config.
I've got it fixed (crossing everything) as it's survived three reboots, two startups and a partridge in a pear tree.
This morning couldn't get the uninstall/ reinstall of the drivers to work at all. Still poor speeds.
So I removed ALL of the drivers via Rapr. Rebooted then used @Brink's registry frig to stop driver updates. So it was now just using the baked in driver that's not showing in Rapr. Most probably will have to do the same routine in Canary after every update no doubt. Still to do in the RTM version. Thanks for sticking with this. Vey helpful of you.
