[DRIVERS] Realtek Audio (AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/8xx & Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx/8xx)


Hi MoKiChU,

I have two other systems that have Realtek Audio; ROG Strix Z270F Gaming board which I use occasionally and the other a laptop from 2015 which I mess around on doing random stuff, ASUS X555LA. Could you tell me which audio drivers I need for them?. Many thanks.

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the first post of this thread.

These various Realtek driver are rather confusing for me.
I have as Asus ROG STRIX Z790-H Gaming WiFi motherboard, the latest driver on their support page is V6.0.9400.1 dated December 2022.
I've tried various different guides saying how to get these to work with the universal Realtek Audio Console. It worked once with what appears to be an older driver, but now all I get is a large grey window that does nothing.

Which of these packages do i need to get updated and possibly have the audio console working.
Currently installed driver appears to be 6.0.9356.1

Hi,

You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously the CLEANUP process then the INSTALL process from your ASUS ROG SS3 & SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboards category (for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow the UPDATE process from your ASUS ROG SS3 & SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboards category).
