Hi, new guy here trying to find an answer. I want to dual boot win 11 and win 7, by installing my current win 7 4T ssd into a new win 11 build as a second drive. Win 7 is UEFI, but I'm hearing there may be driver issues. Need to run 4 monitors. No gaming. Specs on new build.....

Motherboard: ASUS PRIME Z790 GAMING WIFI7 DDR5 ATX w/ Wi-Fi 7, 1 GbT LAN, (4)PCIe x16,(1)PCIe x1, (3)M.2, (4)SATA
CPU: Intel® Core™ Processor i7-14700K 8P/16 + 12E 3.40GHz [Turbo 5.6GHz] 33MB Cache LGA1700
MEMORY: 32GB (16GBx2) DDR5/6000MHz Dual Channel Memory (Team T-FORCE DELTA RGB [BLACK])
Video Card: GeForce RTX™ 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6 Video Card (DLSS 2.0) [VR Ready] (Single Card)
Primary Hard Drive: 1TB WD BLACK SN850X (PCIe Gen4) NVMe M.2 SSD - Seq R/W: Up to 7300/6300 MB/s, Rnd R/W up to 800/1100k (Single Drive)
POWERSUPPLY: 850 Watts - High Power 850W 80+ GOLD ATX 3.0 Ready w/ PCIE 12+4Pins Connector for PCIe 5.0 graphics cards - BLACK [+11]

Apparently win 7 drivers are available for the Geforce 3060.
Appreciate any thoughts or comments on if this is doable before I order the new one..
Thanks

Win 7 will always have driver challenges with newer HW, you check over on WIN-RAID forum to see which driver problems have been solved.

Sounds like a bad plan. Win7 is no longer supported and a security risk.

If you really want to keep Win 7, install it on a virtual machine to mimise risk to host OS and even then do not visit sites like amazon, ebay, banks that may enable a hacker to get access to your bank details.
