Easy Subtitle Synchronizer

It seems that the July 2026 update to .NET has rendered this old program inoperable. My Win10 computer, which I did not run the July update on, still works, and Easy Subtitle Synchronizer relies on .NET to work.

Can anyone confirm this or give me a good alternative for adjusting subtitles?

I use the latest stable version. 5.0

Be careful with the new version of Subtitle Edit. Version 5 of Subtitle Edit has been completely rewritten using the latest version of the .NET Framework, and you may encounter some issues like the one you described. Fortunately, you can also download the previous version, 4.0.16, which works very well. In any case, Subtitle Edit is one of the best subtitle programs I've ever used (if not the best).

4.0.14 and + versions of Subtitle Edit have issues with encoding subtitle to Windows 1254: Turkish (Windows)
I saw some other language guy had that issue too.

I used UtfUnknown.dll from 4.0.13 version to fix it.

These versions have that encoding issue.
4.0.14
4.0.15
4.0.16

Beta and stable releases of 5.0.0 have not that issue
