Hi folks
This great free program (Calibre) still works for all those who use e-readers.
It's still great even for kindles as ebooks can be converted from all sorts of formats to others so epub books can be converted to MOBI / AZI3 for kindles.

Edwin, I always just download the latest version and install it on top of the old version. I've never had a problem doing it that way.

Doesn't work for me for some reason. I end up having to uninstall>fresh install the new version!

@Edwin Kovid updates it so often I don't apply but maybe every third update. Next time you decide to uninstall it to reinstall a new version, see if using use one of the uninstallers that cleans residual registry entries makes a difference. (Revo or Iobit Uninstaller) Revo has a portable version. It wouldn't hurt to then search the registry for any entries for Calibre.(I cheat a little bit if I do that. I'll temporarily install Auslogics Registry Cleaner and use its search function to get a nicely laid out view of all entries it found. As soon as I'm through using Auslogics I'll uninstall it as I don't use it as a registry cleaner but for registry searching.)

Yup, that's what I did, I Revo'd it!
To be honest, Calibre is a great program but, I've got most of my e-books on my tablet, so, I don't use Calibre that much!
