Edge Browser

Using edge browser.

There's a single, certain website I use with an issue. When I try to log in, I enter my username, password, 2fa code. I then get looped back in the same login screen, an endless loop.

If I use edge "in private" or edge "guest" mode, I have no problems with that same website. Everything then works properly.

On the regular edge browser, I have allowed "popups and redirects" and allowed 3rd party cookies, cleared browser history, cache, it did not help.

I do have adguard and a VPN, but both have been disabled in order to diagnose this problem.

What other setting would cause this login loop?

You may have a corrupted profile. What extensions, if any, are installed?

Turned out to be setting in the windscribe vpn extension.

Originally, I had all the extensions disabled but it did not fix the original problem.

Then I deleted each extension one at a time which led me to the problem.

So, I learned that when diagnosing, just disabling the extension is not good enough. They have to be completely uninstalled.
