Edge Corrupted Top Bar after latest udate today

After the latest update to Edge today (149.0.4022.52) the top bar in Edge can become corrupted. If you enter full screen by hitting F11, and then exit that by moving the cursor to the top of the screen, the the 3 icons top right are no longer there. If you hover over where X should be it does say "close" but nothing happens. The actual close button is to the left where - should be. Happens all my 3 PCs after today's update.

I think this behavior will be the norm ; the Canary version has been like that for a while.
I do not see a corruption anywhere though, I also do not see any reference to close when hovering to the top left .
If you hover all the way to the top, address bar and toolbar return as well.
Pressing F11 or holding Esc. returns me to the original size.

No this is surely not normal. If I enter full screen via F11 and exit via F11 the buttons appear as normal. If I instead move the cursor to top of the screen to exit, they do not, but if you hover the cursor where the minimize (-) would be, it turns red and "close" appears underneath. Click the red square and indeed the window closes.

I don't have a red square anywhere. I see it.
I do not see an issue with this behavior but then again, I rarely use full screen and mostly use Canary, so you know best.
Have you tried repairing Edge?

My Edge is the same version as yours. I have no such issues. Rather than running full screen I have Edge set to run as normal window nor do I ever hit f11. Instead, I manually size the window by dragging the edges to a couple of pixels shy of full screen, leaving more space at the bottom than the top. This is so my taskbar has room to unhide without being hidden by the bottom of the Edge window. Windows remembers the size I made it from one session to the next.
