Edge: More Tools submenu (Context Menu / Main Menu) has much more items suddenly.

I think this came in with, Edge Stable 139.0.3405.102, although it's not mentioned in the Change Log I can see.

I've recently installed Wintoys too and am wondering if I've enabled something to do this, although this doesn't really make sense it would cause Menu Tools to overpopulate.

Does anyone else now have this many items in "More Tools"?

My Edge Context menu suddenly has more of the items in "More Tools" (annoyingly Collections is now three clicks to add to it 😠):

No, nothing new but you have a lot of things checked like shopping, collections which I do not.
It's been like that for quite a while now.

Yeah it was useful before as some of the Main Menu options anyway must have really low usage, like "Launch taskbar pinning wizard" even seems pretty useless.

But they've got rather tricky happy now. People aren't going to know they're Features hiding them and I'd argue "Performance" and "Secure Network" are useful for most users.

It would help if Microsoft put it in the recent Changelog the Menus are being trimmed further.

Thanks. I've got it on my Toolbar.

It's now more clicks to Add pages to a Collections.

I use it personally alongside Bookmarks for pages I want to know about but not forever, like items I'm planning to buy for example.

I thought maybe I changed it enabling something in Wintoys, which isn't great at explaining well what changing an option does fully, but it didn't make sense this would change Edge menus.

I'll have to live with it it seems.

I know you can the Toolbar but I didn't know you could the Menus.

Settings -> Privacy, search, and services- > Search and connected experiences

I didn't even know you could turn these off, thanks.

Version 140 and I do not have it in Context Menu, but mine is definitely smaller, I disable all Edge "features".

Weirdly "Read Aloud", "Share" and "Screenshot" aren't in the Context Menu for you under "More Tools", but they are for me now.

How do you disable Drop? I can only see how to remove it from the Toolbar. Thanks.

Also weirdly, my work PC doesn't have "Collections" or "Shopping" in "More Tools" and it's also Edge Stable 139.0.3405.102. Shopping is disabled by IT using some method, but Collections isn't.

I like the idea to have More Tools on paper, but MS have gone well OTT. It makes a bunch of features look rubbish, like Apps on the Main Menu is absolutely where it should be.
