I keep getting news notifications on the new tab page when I start Edge. The setting is turned off but 3 news notifications appear every time. How can I get rid of them?

I've removed the Bell icon completely but you can change the setting to your preference. Need to enable content then select the Personalise tab then Notification. Turn off 'Get all notifications', to remove the bell, or whichever settings you prefer.

I never have the Content feature on, on the new tab, so just tried the links with it on and presto. Thanks for the tip, but no luck. When I click on Follow interests, nothing happens. I have Content disabled by policy.

Done that. As I said mostly use Chrome but it really annoys me when you change something and then the next time you use it the changes have reverted back
