Hi all,

Is there a way to remove annoying context menu entries as shown in the picture?

You can use ShellExView utility displays the details of shell extensions installed on your computer, and allows you to easily disable and enable each shell extension.

About AMD, different methods according to your expectations :

What I do is directly disable the program as I don't use it.
It doesn't disable the driver, no worries.
Run MSconfig as administrator, go to Services tab, check the Hide MS services box, and finally the AMD software(s) in the list.
You can have a look in the Startup tab and with the Task manager link to check out any other programs.

Otherwise, you can just disable the context menu shortcut in the Windows Registry (what I guess is what you just want) :

(TenForums' thread) :

With nVidia for example, you have this option available in the app, but apparently not with AMD.
Of course, you can disable other shortcuts and hot keys with it :

(click on image for details on makeuseof.com)

and disable the system tray icon too (details on official site).

On Windows 10, I managed to end up with a very clean and light context menu, but I don' know if the rest of the registry edits of W10 works the same, as not all tutorials from Shawn @Brink were updated for W11.

@FreeBooter @TizianoMad thanks for the help, sadly this new addition to the "modern" W11 menu cant be disabled as before, I tried all suggested methods.
I will also try to disable the software altogether.

UPDATE:
After MSConfig intervention, there is no entry in the menu anymore. But menu becomes laggy and shows two loading blocks.

I will uninstall AMD software and install drivers only.

Welcome @drazen11

Sorry to hear that these tweaks and settings are not completely successful.
Sometimes, after this kind of edit, running Ccleaner to clean up the registry can help.
This app also have a few context menu entries you can set.
Making a (C:\) Disk Cleanup is something which has to be done quite often after this kind of modification.

Have you tried out Autoruns (Windows app, to run as Admin) ?
It's usually the most effective.
The other evoked 3rd party tweaker apps are no older, but are in fact less and less compatible with the 11 system.

Have you tried to remove other context menu options yet ?
(11 marked links should all be good).

Unfortunately, I have the same behavior even without touching anything (it is laggy during loading the entries). Actually, that's why I start searching and found this thread. I plan to follow your steps to remove all AMD drivers and to try a clean install :)

The only alternative I can think of is SHELL (nilesoft.org)

...with adding a command line in the "shell.shl" file, probably looking like this :

}

I had the same issue. The context menu was laggy because of the Adrenalin entry in the context menu.
I actually had the classic context menu enabled by default.
I tried shellex, shellmenu, deleting the ACE entry in regedit, Autoruns (no more ACE entry shows up in here). Nothing worked.
I had to install just the driver to remove that menu option.

My notebook has a dedicated Nvidia GPU together with the AMD iGPU, but this is annoying nonetheless. I wanted to play around with the Adrenalin software.

I didn't find it using it. I'll try it now. Screw AMD for not offering this option!
Adrenaline looks great otherwise.

EDIT: Doesn't work. This was after a restart.

I manage to remove it following those steps.

1. Uninstall AMD software completely. It was added with all my Lenovo software.
2. Download and install AMD drivers and Adrenalin software from AMD website.
3. Then I found this in the AMD forum.

add {FDADFEE3-02D1-4E7C-A511-380F4C98D73B} to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions\Blocked and restart the computer.

For some reason, this did not worked having the AMD software installed with my Lenovo drivers (maybe Adrenalin was an older version) but when I removed it and installed it from AMD website, it worked.

Now I have Adrenalin software 22.11.2 in case I need it, but it is not in the context menu :D

I got a new Lenovo Legion so maybe those steps apply. I did a clean Windows 11 install though, so not much Lenovo software installed (got an opensource alternative to Vantage, and just installed the Lenovo Hotkeys).
My PC only had the AMD driver that windows update fetched. I tried to install Adrenaline 22.11.2 over it. But then the classic context menu gets laggy with the AMD entry.

I'll try that option and check if the context menu doesn't get laggy. I did want to have the Adrenalin software installed, but since I will mostly use the dedicated GPU I kind of gave up.

anyone found a solution which doesn't involve uninstalling anything just through registry edits?

Try the following approach:
  1. Launch the Registy Editor: regedit
  2. Navigate to the following path, create the ‘Blocked’ key if absent: \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions\Blocked
  3. Right-click and select: New > String Value
  4. Name it as: {6767B3BC-8FF7-11EC-B909-0242AC120002}
  5. Set its value to: AMDSoftwareAdrenalinEdition
  6. Restart Windows Explorer.
This worked for me.
