Enable never combine taskbar in Windows 11 21h2

Hello,
I have Windows 11 21h2 on my office, i dont have the permission to instal any thing, so please, is there a way to enable never combine taskbar ?
I tried this :

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
3. Look for TaskbarGlomLevel
4. Set value to 2
5. Open Task Manager and look for "Window Explorer" in Processes section
6. Select "Window Explorer" and click on "Restart task".

But it didnt work for me.

I got the permission now, wich one should change " MMTaskbarGlomLevel" or TaskbarGlomLevel" ?

I know there are multiple choices in there but it's a matter of selecting which one suits your needs.
I think this is correct:
  • Option One: Enable or Disable Never Combined Mode on Taskbar for Current User in Settings - Single Monitor
  • Option Two: Enable or Disable Never Combined Mode on Taskbar for Current User using REG file - Single Monitor
  • Option Three: Enable or Disable Never Combined Mode on Other Taskbars for Current User in Settings - Multi Monitor
  • Option Four: Enable or Disable Never Combined Mode on Other Taskbars for Current User using REG file - Multi Monitor
  • Option Five: Enable or Disable "Combine Taskbar buttons and hide labels" and "Combine Taskbar buttons and hide labels on other taskbars" for All or Specific Users in Local Group Policy Editor - Both
  • Option Six: Enable or Disable "Combine Taskbar buttons and hide labels" and "Combine Taskbar buttons and hide labels on other taskbars" for All Users using REG file - Both
I always go the reg file route. Simple, and there is an undo equivalent in the Options

Nope, just one monitor,
I changed "TaskbarGlomLevel"=dword:00000002 and

User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar
But the option didnt appear.

I would say Option One or Option Two (reg file)

But I don't understand why this can't be changed in the settings (Option One ) unless their group policy denies it. In which case I don't know about the reg file.
Why can't they just do it remotely if they’re in control?

Do you read anything like "This Setting Is Managed by Your Administrator" in the settings when trying Option One?

Changing this should just stop them combining. No need to enter Admin Templates.
Did you test it?

Sign out, reboot or restart explorer.exe first

Why can't they just do it remotely if they’re in control?

Do you read anything like "This Setting Is Managed by Your Administrator" in the settings when trying Option One?

So if you don’t have settings for taskbar, and option 2 isn’t working, I can only suggest that the group policy settings have dictated as much.
And I can’t see them wanting you to reset group policies.

This has gone past my ability to process less saying; ask them to connect and change your setting.

Perhaps someone else can chime in.
