This tutorial will show you how to enable or disable requiring enhanced anti-spoofing protection for Windows Hello facial recognition sign-in authentication for all users in Windows 11 and Windows 10.

You can use Windows Hello to sign in using facial recognition with your PC's infrared camera or an external infrared camera.

After you set up facial recognition to sign in to Windows with, you can enable Enhanced facial recognition protection for all users.

Enabling Enhanced facial recognition protection might increase sign-in errors, and disables Windows Hello facial authentication on devices that don't support enhanced anti-spoofing.

Reference:

You must be signed in as an administrator to enable or disable enhanced anti-spoofing protection for Windows Hello facial recognition sign-in authentication.

I can't seem to get this enabled in Windows 11 Enterprise 24H2 LTSC. I have a Lenovo ThinkPad x1 Carbon Gen 12 with an IR-Camera that I already use for Windows Hello but can't seem to get it enabled. I wonder if this is stripped from Windows 11 Enterprise 24H2 LTSC. Maybe this is only for Copliot+ PCs?

I didn't have the setting either, then one day there it was. Maybe a firmware or driver will add it for you eventually.

You were right! Feature was activated after installing KB5055523 and a few Intel driver updates!!! No tweaks needed 🙌
