Envy 13 WINDOWS 11 WON'T BOOT HANGS LOADING RECOVERY ENVIRONMENT

Thank you, everyone, for weighing in. The Intel Optane ssd was bad. It showed in bios, passed Hp bios diagnostics, but would not talk to the VMD driver at the time of ssd detection/windows installation. Also, the ssd was not testable in windows based ssd diags, with ssd info not displaying. The fix was installation of a new ssd. Done.

Throw that Optane SSD away, those were a complicated piece of junk! The complexity and difficult with recovery when you have issues doesn't justify it's existence nowadays.

For my HP Envy 14 eb000 machine, everything I tried would not get past this watchdog error - repair or rebuild. I began to suspect Intel Optane was the issue and I was able to disable from BIOS and choose Keep Files. This took about an hour then machine was able to reinstall Windows 11. I can't believe this solution isn't on the HP forum.
