I'm trying to get into windows defender but I'm getting Page not available Your IT administrator has limited access to some areas of this app and the item you tried isn't available. Is this a bug or something I've done wrong? I am the only account holder on my laptop

I went to a good deal of effort to change ASUS Bios settings, C: drive GPT , etc
to have that PC pass (MEET REQUIREMENTS) the [ WIN 11 REady Tests..] ( see my snippits in O.P. )
..... if not, I'l repost that here

If you look at the other link .. there is know issue with ASUS injecting?
some s/w during the boot process.
I want to understand this better before moving foreword in any routine solution

See if this is any help for your problem with the firewall: Reset Windows Security app: Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features. Find Windows Security, and click Advanced options. Click Reset.

1 - my O/S does NOT show "Apps & Features" link..
2 - I can reach 'Windows Security' form via " Settings 'Privacy & Security' "
3 - NO "advance Options " shown, so NO " ReSEt " options either.
4 - In below snippet, you can see the "pop UP message " behavior ..
--- if any " Protection Area " link is pressed.
