Excel 2019 Not Responding

Problems did not occur prior to upgrade to Windows Version 22H2 -- or, if they did occur, they were so rare as not be memorable. No applications have been added in months. I really think the problems somehow relate to the new Windows Version. What I have been unable to figure out (among other things) is that initially had very similar problems on my desktop as well as my wife's - both Intel i7's. Now I rarely have a problem with mine, but she experiences the problems mentioned above every single day and multiple times during the day. My wife has a NUC8I7BEH and I have a Dell XPS 8950 i7-12700. Also, I notice from this and thread and other web searches that there are some experiencing similar issues, but it doesn't appear to be commonplace. This is one of the rare times I have been unable to find the cause for a Windows OS or PC equipment problem.

Are macros running in your spreadsheets by any chance?

I have some fairly complex spreadsheets with Macros. These seem to be working okay. The spreadsheets my wife uses do not have any macros.
