Hi folks
Liking W11 so far - very fast (OK I'm using a VM and only have base Windows) -- Activation OK (W7 old Technet key still works BTW) .
Themes installable, CPU usage on a VM low (mind you not doing much yet on it) new icons, networking seems OK too.
I needed to switch to SMB1 to access other older devices on LAN.
Only defect (liveable with unlike the case of W2K22 server trial) is that openssh -server won't install (from the add optional features) but I suppose that will get fixed in due course.
Now will mess around with Language settings and Office 2019 install
The size I used for initial install virtual disk was 40GB - might need to make a bit bigger.
If Office goes OK I'll fiddle around with optimising the VM -- so far it's running just OK.
Firefox is default browser I've switched to.
Reminder - if you want to install as a LOCAL account then ensure Internet is disconnected at initial setup.
With your own themes you can change the bright menu thing -- although I still wish the Windows bar could be moved back to LH edge of screen.
Updated - Thanks to tutorial in tutorial section moved back to LH of screen -- thanks @Brink etc.
Cheers
