Explorer.exe showed when opening unzipped folder in Bandizip but closed immediately then appeared again by accident.

But does Bandizip work or cause lost data? Is it free? If paid for has the author been conversed with? Some Windows-based programmers use parts of what Windows has and since File Explorer and the previous Windows Explorer are pretty much the core of Windows it's possible it just checking on what is happening.

I vote for 7-Zip, had used WinZip for years but it isn't as complete.
