because of curiosity, I wanted to test an application Facebook Blocker by SecurityXploded.com https://securityxploded.com/facebook-blocker-tool.php
Easy and rapid installation. I set the block: it worked !
There is a button to UN-block: it does NOT work !
I UN-installed the Blocker application; the block is still active both on EDGE and OPERA.
I contacted SecurityXploded.com no answer
VERY annoyed because of that: time and effort wasted in 2 days.
Any suggestion ? I would be very grateful.

Software hasn’t been updated since 2018

Load a system image and revert back to the image you made before trying this obscure software of which I cannot find out much about. You made a system image first, right?

It could of changed anything. Possibly something in the policy settings. It isn’t open-source so it’s impossible to find out what exactly.

Would be a good way to make someone pay for the full version. Block and keep blocked.

While restoring an image is a 100 times better, if you don't have one to restore, you could try system restore, restoring to a point before you installed the blocker software. SR works for some people, but not for me. It never has on this machine, but maybe it will work for you. I tried it right after a clean install, too. Maybe your mileage with it will prove to be better.

Hello. The game is over. The solution was to delete the HOSTS that were blocked. I received full assistance and I like to record it from XenArmor that controls SecurityXploded, the producer of the app. Just deleting the Hosts in System 32 > drivers > etc > Hosts.

I actually did ask you to check the HOSTS file in my first post. Did you not look when I asked?

Deleting the file is unnecessary. You could of just removed the entries. I’d suggest you replace it.
I can upload a default one for you to put back into windows\system32\drives\etc\ folder.
