Unfortunately Facebook is No Help when you run into a Problem, they would rather you just go around and around.. If I knew where to nip it in the bud ?? The problem occurs after I've Cleared the Cache & Browsing History.. Have decided to just Create a new Email Address & Password.. It's How to take my Contacts from the Old and add them to the New FB Account ?? Thoughts Opinions Appreciated, Cheers Thanks

Other than sending your "friends" new friend requests from the new account, and them accepting, you can't.
I hope you made the password for the new account, very, very difficult.

It’s a legal obligation for Facebook, not to allow you to move “Friends” to another account due to privacy reasons.
As people can only add Friends via invitation (Friend Request), the friends must choose to accept the Friend Request before they become your Friend.
Therefore sharing Friends between Facebook Profiles is impossible because the Friends haven’t agreed to be added to the new account, by accepting a request.

What was wrong with you old Facebook account that Meta was making you go around & around?

Sounds to me like they’re creating a new profile. If I compromised your Facebook account and created a new account posing as you using information in your profile, then copied your Friends list over…

If they’re just changing an email and password for the same account, that’s a different story.

The only way is to make all your contacts on the old profile publicly visible.
On new profile search for the old profile then send friend requests again from those listed on the old profile.

It’s just a scenario. Who is to tell if someone is a legitimate user?
Privacy laws do not allow ANYBODY to move/share facebook Friends anywhere without a request being resent.

Have you never seen someone post something like “I got a new friend request from Joe Blow, but we are already friends” and a list of comments ensuing “Don’t accept that request”

It’s not worth discussing really, you just can’t move Friends. Facebook certainly has a backup system for your profile which you can download. Can you guess what’s not included?

Facebook now allows you to have an additional 4 profiles under your main profile, all linked. You don’t need to log in to these additional profiles, you just switch to the other profiles from within your main account.
But even then, each profile you create has it’s own friends list. To add the same friends to each profile under your main account profile, a request needs to be resent to that friend, regardless that all of the additional profiles are linked and are actually you.

You can create up to four additional Facebook profiles under your account. These profiles can represent different things about you, such as your interests or communities you belong to. Each profile will have its own friends list and Feed and each can follow different groups and Pages.
