The update downloads, then installs and reboots. An error is detected when Windows loads after a boot and it resets back too 23560.ni_prerelease.230929-15113

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Thank you for filling out your system specs.
For one reason or another the original download is not valid or is corrupted.
From that point on, it retries the setup with the same downloaded source.
I advise you to download the ISO from MS and see if you have better luck.

An ISO install lets you choose to keep everything.
Once downloaded, click on the ISO file, it will mount the image as a drive, from that drive run the setup.
You will then be offered that option.

Thanks for the suggention. I normally use ISO's to do clean installs, so when made the suggention, it was a "DUH" moment for me.
I already downloaded and installed at the 23565 build. Check for updates yeilds "You're up to date" Thanks again.
