The file system in Win 10 was very easy to deal files not so with win 11, they had a good system in 10 so i don't understand why they changed it.
And look at how you have to hunt for the correct drive you want, not the old simple tree as in Win 10.
Also Just count the extra steps it takes to move the files, and i also don't understand the way some file names get placed out of order.
I am running a MSI Stealth 16 Studio A13V system.

Under "Desktop" in the File Explorer, it does show the attached drives as objects to list along with "Home", "Gallery" and all that. And yes, they show up again under "This PC" with all the internal drives.

That's just what it does.

I set my explorer to open up to "This PC" by default. At least they got rid the "Folders" above the "Devices and Drives" list. I never liked that and welcomed that change to 11.

Just how many time does it have to put the same drives in the tree?
If you right-click an item above This PC in the Navigation pane and click Properties it should show the actual location of the actual folder and files which by default is in C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE. Or in other words those above This PC are shortcuts.

You can tidy that up by turning off stuff you don't need in the Navigation pane. Right-click in the bottom of that pane to get the options or open Folder Properties (⋯, Options), View tab, scroll to the bottom.
