This tutorial will show you how to find the IP address of a network printer in Windows 11.
An IP address (Internet Protocol address) is a unique address that identifies a device on the internet or a local network.
You may need your network printer's IP address to connect, troubleshoot, or configure it.

This option requires the network printer to be connected and running.
1 Open File Explorer (Win+E).
2 Click/tap on Network in the navigation pane of File Explorer. (see screenshot below step 3)
3 Under Printers, right click on the network printer, and click/tap on Properties. (see screenshot below)
It may take a few moments for the network printer to be discovered and shown.
4 You will now see the IP address of the network printer. (see screenshot below)
1 Open Settings (Win+I).
2 Click/tap on Bluetooth & devices on the left side, and click/tap on Printers & scanners on the right side. (see screenshot below)
3 Click/tap on the network printer (ex: "HP Color LaserJet MFP M477fdn (BD34EF)") you want to know the IP address for. (see screenshot below)
4 Under More information, click/tap on Device information to expand it open and see the network printer's IP address. (see screenshot below)
1 Open Devices and Printers.
2 Under Printers, right click on the network printer, and click/tap on Properties. (see screenshot below)
3 Click/tap on the Web Services tab to see the IP address. (see screenshot below)
