first clone help

im going to upgrade my dell laptop to larger nvme drive, i have aomei backupper and partiton manager, do i have to turn off encryption in windows 11 to clone the drive or anything else to make a perfect one to one copy, i do not want to reinstall windows all over again, whats the best way to clone without hiccups.

The website link below should answer your question. The information is provided by MiniTool Partition Wizard, which is free, and they suggest using it...I agree with that suggestion. Of course, the final decision is up to you.

In 1997, I started cloning drive to drive, in a small PC shop. It was the time when so many users were making the jump from DOS to Windows, and needed more space.
The shop owner got a FREE demo version of "Ghost", and we all used that for all our drive Cloning.
I cloned many HD's in that little shop, and when I left there Ghost went with me.
After a few years, Ghost was updated, by Symantec Corp. to work with NTFS formatted drives. That was Version 11.5.
I still use that same version today.

PS: Broadcom has acquired Ghost 11.5 and they wrapped it in a Windows 10 Shell. It works GREAT! And it's FREE for download.
