FLTMGR_SYS & SECOND_BOOT

Win11 Pro 23H2, trying to update to 25H2.
After several attempts, I receive the following errors:
#1= 0xC1900101 - 0x40017 The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with a STARTUP operator error.
#2= Stop code SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (0x7E) What failed FLTMGR_SYS? My drivers are up to date with ASUS. I've run tests like SFC/DISM, etc.
Help!!!

Just following something I found in Microsoft pages to list filter drivers:

In administrative command prompt type:

fltmc filters

then post the results. This will give you a list of filter drivers on your system.

Filter drivers are typically installed by storage management, backup, remote management, real-time security tools or anti-cheats. Sometimes during an upgrade, Windows objects to certain drivers as "incompatible" with the target release.

Your options are to:
1. Update your app which installed that filter driver, to the latest app version.
2. Temporarily uninstall that software. Run the Windows upgrade, and then re-install the removed app.

They also include various monitoring and security filters. Can't tell much until you can identify what filter driver. So maybe with the information zbook's scripts. Also might find the culprit just from the list of filters on his system for the fltmc filters output (e.g. no Microsoft filter driver).

Most likely it's the MBAM Chameleon driver.

Uninstall Malware Bytes. Upgrade Windows. Then re-install MBAM with the latest version.

He could just unload the malwarebytes filter and try it and load the filter back I believe. But I haven't tried that.

There is also one other filter driver which is not in Microsoft's list of registered filter drivers (which may be out of date) so I don't know what software it is associated with. That driver is is FAccDrv

I uninstalled several programs, followed by all the SFC/Dism/Chkdsk tests (all OK), then restarted. During the Windows 11 update, after my system was checked and received a this "Your system is OK", installation and restarted, I encountered the "FLTMGR" error again. I logged out, restarted 2 or 3 times, and received the message "Undoing the update - reinstalling the old version." The same thing happened every 24H2 or 25H2.

In bold italics the "altitude" number

in your attachment matches the entry in the Microsoft list:

AifaFE.sys

Alfa

So what Microsoft calls the "altitude" number and any fractional number has been assigned to Alfa:

"If you already have a Microsoft-assigned "integer" altitude, you can use it to create your own "fractional" altitude to place a new filter in the same load order group"

A internet search of Alpha software says it is a Financial software company, so Sage might use their software.

YOUPI ! Update 25H2 successful.
FAccDrv is associated with the Ransomware-and-Backup software. Destroying it was not easy because it had been installed for several years - Password uninstal ???; it was not find to in the Windows application list.
