Focus to the new tab in edge

Is there is still no solution for this basic feature
Holding a keyboard key when clicking is not a solution for me

When I open a new tab,I want to switch to it,not dig through my tabs

Isn't there a setting to do that? It was for Internet Explorer 11, I thought there is one for Microsoft Edge too...

It's been years and there are million threads asking for this when I google but there is still no solution(as far as I know)
There is option for IE but not for Edge....my MS why?

Of course, perhaps you don't use a mouse! 🤷‍♂️
Be nice if you could assign Ctrl/Shift/Click to a three finger tap gesture!

They are special,they should not copy other browsers features that everyone like and use
I can make it work(with Autohotkey)but there is no build in feature in edge
