Folding Table and External Monitor Setup Questions?

If you want to look at all your monitors at the same distance then curved monitors are a good choice.

I am also thinking about a second one too, but 3 would be better because then your middle monitor is the main, the two side ones for extra views around. But that will take a lot of space wide.

You can for example also use one 34" curved in the middle and two 24" flat, one left and one right.

In your case I would make a few choices about a setup first and then use the measures from the manuals to make a scaled desk plan on paper. Then buy your future setup if so.

Timaximus

Okay so it seems everyone here says a 6 foot folding table would be good enough. Now does it need to be 30 inches deep at least? The reason I ask this is because there is one online on amazon where I'm located but the depth seem to be on 27.5 inches deep. The thing is this one isn't that expensive and seem to have good reviews.. The other 6 foot folding tables that seem to be 30 inches deep cost a lot more. Is it normal for some 6 foot folding tables to be less than 30 inches deep?

Anyone here use or used a 4 feet folding table before? And if so, would most of you agree that it is just too small for my current setup of the laptop, 32' 4k monitor and 24' monitor? There was no issue with it when using two 24' 1920x1200 next to each other.

Would having two 32' 4k curved monitors be ideal? The thing is for me, I have to make sure any 32' monitor is 4k. And if I'm using a 24' monitor, it has to be 1920x1200 resolution. What I do online requires this. That is the whole reason I got the 32' 4k monitor in the first place. But then I notice looking around from one end of the monitor to the other end is very hard.

To those that mention having 3 monitors... yes it seems nice to have a big one in the middle and then one of each to the side. However... I would not be buying any new 24' 1920x1200 monitors in the future. If I buy a new monitor, it would be another 32' 4k monitor and most likely curved. The thing is my current setup now... is okay but table isn't deep enough but not only that, hurts when moving neck looking around from one screen to another. To those who use a 32' 4k monitor... don't you find it hard to look at the bottom edges on the left and right side of a 32' 4k monitor? Now if I get just one 32' 4k curved and use it with my current 32' monitor, would that still work okay?

Please excuse the mess, I am renovating.

Here is my custom built desk. It is aprox 35 inches deep.

Here is 30 inches. (Pen and arrow)

Here is 27.5 inches

Note my monitors (4 on a stand) I have plenty of room for my keyboard and mouse. The monitors sit within the 27.5 inches specified. The monitors sit 24 inches from the inner edge (where I sit)
I have room to move my keyboard away from where I sit, I have ample room for a laptop when I use it, plus various other devices I tend to play with, all at the same time.
I believe a folding table, 6 foot long by 27.5 inches deep would be adiquate.

That’s all I have for you. I’m out. Good luck.

@newmann
Be patient and keep looking, eventually you'll find the perfect item, as did I here...

The desk is 36"X72" with 3 - 34" Ultrawide monitors, and, even though the monitor stands are a stupid but stable design, everything fit perfectly!

That is a very large setup and looks very comfortable.

So for me, the 6 foot folding table even if the length is 27.5 inches, that is more than good enough right? Again I want to use 2 external monitors with my laptop and keyboard on the table.
