Solved Foobar and VLC queries on Andriod!!

Hi there hope are well in this flu season,

I have a few questions regarding Foobar and VLC on my old android.

Any experts care to reply, I know @Edwin , uses these.

1. In which folder should I copy the mp3s, I see Foobar and Music folders both in internal shared and android partitions?
2. Videos folder I created in internal shared, want there before. It isn't present in android partition.

On my phone's Foobar folder is empty and there are 2/3 lists of the same songs in different partitions...any expert help would be highly appreciated as always.

Copy them to a folder where you have the most room and the best read/write speeds.
If you're tight for space on the internal partition, put them on the SD Card.
I highly recommend, however, using an SD Card that has good read/write speeds, especially for videos. I use SanDisk Extreme PLUS..., I've had too many cheap Cards go bad on me!
(And, good luck finding a new phone with external card slot support!!!)

That's normal on Android, as soon as you pop an SD Card in, the device will attempt to emulate the default internal folder structure as close as possible, regardless of what custom folders you create. You choose the folder.

The app(s) will only scan for media in the folders you allow them to.

I don't use VLC on Android, it's a huge power hog! I use the stock video player..., not that I watch videos on my phone much!

Foobar for Android is okay..., there's better stuff out there, though.
For strictly an mp3 player: Musicolet. Highly recommended!

Thanks @Edwin , for your expert recommendations and solution. Well regarding a new phone am confused between Oneplus 15 16/512 and Samsung A56 5G?

On this phone I too have a SanDisk Pro SD, but not 1 TB only 128 GB can support I believe up to 256.

Another question the SD card shows as android?
How do you rt click on your phone to display internal storage and SD card, as seen in your posted attachment?

I've always had Samsung phones..., I know nothing about OnePlus phones.
However, the ones you mentioned, both have no external card slot support!
To my knowledge, the last Samsung phone with external card slot support is the A35.

I haven't seen a good movie worthy of recommendation for at least a decade!
As far as music recommendations..., I wouldn't know where to begin!
