Forums that run on "Fora" won't open with VPN

Just this week, one of my favorite forums won't open unless I pause my VPN. Already different browsers, rebooting, and different vpn servers.

After some digging, I found that ANY forum running on "Fora" won't open when using a VPN. Simply went to Fora.com, clicked on 10 different forums, and none of them work unless I pause my VPN. So who's fault is this? How do VPN users get this resolved?

Just turn off your VPN, it's a pretty simple solution.

@z3r010 You aren't telling me anything I don't already know.
I've had a VPN for over 4 years and never had to turn if off once, for any reason. Just trying to understand what happened.
Why are forums using the Fora platform, the only sites on the entire world wide web that are blocked by a VPN?

There are lots of sites that block VPN's, we block loads here.

If you want to use their sites, the solution is to turn off the VPN.

VPN usage is rife with abuses, and more and more sites are simply blocking users with VPN connections. You can blame all the bad actors that abuse the Internet or feel the anonymity afforded them by a VPN allows them to be as obnoxious as they like.

I emailed Fora, they actually replied and said:

We are aware of this problem. We have been under a spam attack recently with bots primarily originating from NordVPN IPs. This should be resolved soon.

Like I said, VPN usage is rife with abuses... The anonymity offered by the VPN makes people say and do stupid things.
