Hi Everyone
have a problem with 'missing' gmail. (this only half true!)
What is happening is that some incoming mail reaches the 'all mail' folder, but does not appear in the inbox folder.
If I go to the all mail folder, and highlight it, and then go to move to inbox - this does NOT do the trick.
Have tried all the usual moves (filters etc) but no solution yet.
Are others having the same problem?
Thoughts / work around suggestions welcome

Which folder is it actually in? If it is in the Spam folder, you need to flag it as 'not spam'. This will move it back to its original folder. But is may not be the top as it will be in date order, so check its date.

Spam folder is not a problem - all functions as it should.

If you open all mail and find this one email, when you click on move, did you notice that inbox is not an option? You can type 'Inbox', but nothing happens.
I tried to explain, but you are not receptive, so I give up!

I went to the trouble of testing it, and you can't even be bothered to answer my question.

Are you using the Gmail phone app or desktop web access? This may have nothing to do with anything but as of this morning my Gmail phone app is acting strange; I'm getting notifications from spam messages and I'm having trouble clearing spam. The phone app gets worse every time its updated.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Re Kelper - I will not enter into point scoring!
For all to note, the 'missing' from Inbox mails, do show in all mail, together with the indication that they have also gone into inbox. But they are not there.
The mystery continues, fortunately it is only occassionally that the problem occurs.
