GPU errors in the event viewer due to the smart monitor?

As I mentioned in another post, I've had several hardware errors of this type every day or two:

(live kernel events):
  • Bug Check 0x193: VIDEO_DXGKRNL_LIVEDUMP
  • Bug Check 0x1B8: VIDEO_MINIPORT_BLACK_SCREEN_LIVEDUMP
  • Bug Check 0x1A8: VIDEO_DXGKRNL_BLACK_SCREEN_LIVEDUMP
I suspected it was due to the smart monitor because whenever those errors occurred, my Samsung G8 OLED smart monitor wouldn't wake up after a period of inactivity (forcing me to manually restart it), which is normal for this monitor (many people on Reddit with this exact model are experiencing the same issue).

So I haven't used it for a week, and I've been using a completely different monitor (also connected via HDMI), and none of these hardware errors have occurred.

The only strange thing that happened during that week was that nvcontainer.exe crashed once, but not a single one of those hardware errors.

So, is it the monitor's firmware that's the problem, and is my PC fine?

Thanks.

The V2 Log collector is not just for BSOD's, it gathers full system specs and driver versions so it's useful for finding incompatible hardware or outdated firmware that causes glitches short of a full crash.
