If you need more details I will post when I get home Friday.
I have xfinity 2 gig using their modem.. Few months old..
Cat 7 cable going from modem to asus at rx 88u pro in the port. Maybe two feet away. Cat 7 from asus to 2.5 ethernet.. Drivers up to date.. Asus firmware up to date. All hard wired...
I know it's not going to be 2 gig but I'm suriped it's only about 850.
I get it depends on server and all that. I wanted to see what spped the cable modem was sending to my router so I did a speed test in qos router. 2345 I thought was pretty good. If it's going in at 2300 and all cables should I be going from 2300 to 800? I've used a bunch of different sites and a bunch of different times... VPN is off...
That seems to be a lot of loss. My real issue is I was getting in the 7s with the one gig plan and basically the same with the two gig plan..if I get the same spped why would I pay more for the 2 gig....
Any comments would be cool.... Just seems to be a waste of money.
