Hi folks
Windows / file explorer doesn't seem to be able to handle even simple searches correctly -- I want to find any outlook.pst files on my computer. Surely ANY search facility on the planet should be able to look for a file name outlook.pst on the computer -- no special sort codes etc needed.

But Windows in its infinite wisdom obviously finds this task impossible. I'm surely not typing i the search argument wrong !!!

Cheers

Have you tried just using a wildcard?

*.pst

Try *.pst instead

Without the asterisk, my did the same... just searched for anything with pst in it.

But with the asterisk it did it correctly...

I did notice that File Explorer didn't remember where I save my pics (desktop)
When I went to attach the pic here, it went to F:\Bookmarks where I had saved my Bookmarks just a while ago.

It's always remembered in the past.
